Short Range vs Long Range - Cinewhoop vs HD1xr

The Cinewhoop starter kit is a great solution for a pilot that is after: 

• close up shots,
• intricate proximity cinematic flights, and
• short-range flights

On the other hand, the HD1xr will be better suited for:

• long flights
• continuos long cinematic shoots, and
• fast chase scenes

There is an added advantage of having the props protected with the Cinewhoop. The downside is that the added weight might lower the flight time drastically, and flying characteristics are different. Both are great platforms to start taking FPV seriously. Which is better for you depends on what type of shot you are after and what you are willing to sacrifice on your first purchase. 

Down the road, you can add as many drones as you want to your DJI controller and goggle.
